McGill Engineers in Action - ESWATINI
B-Yond is proud to highlight our collaboration with McGill Engineers in Action (EIA), supporting their mission to construct pedestrian footbridges in vulnerable communities.
This summer, five McGill students traveled to Eswatini to build the Emkhiweni footbridge, a project benefiting 4,800 people across Kalashabane and Esphumlweni municipalities. The bridge, constructed in partnership with the University of Southern Indiana and Oregon State University, enhances access to essential services for local residents.
As sponsors, we're honored to contribute to this impactful initiative. Our support for the McGill EIA Bridge Program aligns with our values of empathy, innovation, and community engagement.
McGill University is one of the most renowned institutions in North America, and its students are at the forefront of engineering innovation and social responsibility. By partnering with McGill EIA, we are investing in the leaders of tomorrow and supporting their mission to create sustainable infrastructure in remote communities.
